2018 Focus on increasing painting sales

    

Last year the 52nd Camberwell Art Show was a huge success. We are pleased to report we sold 350 paintings over the 10 days and our partners in the event, our exhibiting artists, reaped the benefit.

With such an outstanding result how do we eclipse it this year? Our 2018 planning now calls for us to increase sales again to around 400 paintings. Its a tough target but one which we believe is possible.

Our continued focus on providing the most professional display of art from Australia's leading and emerging artists will not be diminshed. We are fortunate to have a magnificent venue for our exhibition at the modern steel and glass ATC Building at Swinburne University. We all appreciate if quality art is showcased to the highest standard then more visitors results in more sales.

We are revamping our program in order to attract more patrons and have them spend more time in the gallery. Our Gala Opening on the first Friday is a major drawcard and added to this now will be more events throughout the following week. The evenings have been set aside as special nights. On Monday there is scheduled a community event in conjunction with Australian Food Allergy Association. Local Rotary Clubs have been invited to conduct a fellowship evening at the art show during the course of the week. Major sponsors Parke Lawyers and Bendigo Community bank have been allocated an evening each in which they will present to their invited clients. Our popular artists demonstration events will see 10 artists in action. Artist day on Monday will again be a popular event and is free for all artists who entered the show.
