  • Biography

    Shini Pararajasingham completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Monash University (2003) and a Bachelor in Arts (Psychology) and Business Marketing at Monash University (1998).

    Since completing her BFA, Shini has been a finalist in the prestigious, “John Leslie Art Prize”, the Toyota Community Spirit Show and the She Series Award at Walker Street Gallery. During her Fine Art studies at Monash University, Shini was a recipient of the Prato Travelling Scholarship in 2002.

    With two international solo shows in Vienna, Austria and Colombo, Sri Lanka, a group exhibition in Prato, Italy and numerous solo and group exhibitions in Melbourne, Brisbane and Regional Victoria, Shini Pararajasingham quickly established herself as a prolific contemporary artist. These days, Shini dedicates her time and expertise to her role as Curator and Director at Off the Kerb Gallery in Collingwood. And when she finds a spare moment, you'll find her immersed in her oil paintings.
