Biography

Born Leeds , Yorkshire England 1927 with an inbuilt love of the sea, and a great desire to express myself with drawings from my imagination .Encouraged to do so as a young school boy by unknown teacher, to whom I am ever grateful. Won first award in a national school competition 1939 , then war , evacuation, and serving in Royal Navy, In Australia recommenced painting in Oils, Then thanks to a meeting with Bob Wade at an A G RA demo, whose great help and guidance , set me on my present journey int0 the delights of watercolour. member of many watercolour societies, has works hanging in , Frankston Cultural Society, Nepean Historical Society. Monash Medical Centre ,and many more, including permanent Marker at First Landing Site.
