  • Biography

    Patricia (Trish) grew up in Sandringham, Victoria in a family that encouraged her love of painting & drawing. She completed a Batchelor of Science with Honours at The University of Melbourne, majoring in Botany. She held a number of research positions in plant science and, while working, attained her Master of Science degree.
    In 2006 she joined the Glen Eira Cheltenham Art Group (GECAG) where she attended several watercolour classes with Margaret Gurney, Craig Penny & Maxine Wade. She has also taken part in a variety of workshops, most recently with David Taylor & Fabio Cembranelli. She has toured to Italy with artist Ev Hales, South Australia with artist Amanda Hyatt & Tasmania with artists Clive Sinclair & Vivi Palegeorge. In addition to her GECAG membership, she is also a member of Hughesdale Art Group, Baysde en pleinair Group & the Watercolour Society of Victoria.
    Her work has been exhibited & sold in several Rotary Shows, Community art shows & the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. She loves exploring new techniques & subjects in watercolour which is reflected in the variety of her work.
