Biography

I remember as a child my father teaching me to paint landscapes before I had even begun school. Since then, it has been a passion and an ever-inspiring reward to be able to create something with my own hands and mind that puts a smile on peopleís faces. Every piece demands extreme patience and determination. Some pieces can take up to 6 months to complete. The feeling of accomplishment at the completion of a piece of work is like no other.

My medium of choice has always been graphite or water colour, used in a very delicate and detailed manner to accurately depict the subject. I like to capture the mesmerizing beauty of living things - such as the gracefulness of an exquisite flower or the tranquillity of a big cat resting.

Finally in mid-life, after a career in Graphic Design and Illustration, and raising a family I have decided to share my artwork with others for their enjoyment.
