Marina Chamberlain Profile 2022
Based in Melbourne, I am largely a self-taught artist with some formal tuition in design at Wellington Technical College NZ and at workshops in a variety of mediums. Over several years I enjoyed teaching art to school children which proved a most fertile learning ground for me.
I have sold paintings at various art shows throughout New Zealand and Australia, including local council art awards, rotary art shows, The Artworks rotary shows in Auckland and was selected for the Molly Morpeth Canaday Art Award NZ.
In addition I have received portrait commissions for both adults and children, including horse and rider portraits most notably for Peter Taylor, a coach for the Canadian Olympic equestrian team.
