Lucy Crowe is an emerging artist based in Naarm. She explores themes such as identity, belonging and memory through her studio practice, working with a range of mediums - but most commonly graphite drawings, oil paintings and film photography.
She is currently studying Fine Arts and Psychology at Monash University and creates innovative work, pushing the boundaries of traditional techniques, and developing new processes utilised in her studio practise.
Lucy’s work focuses on the surrealism style, in an aesthetic and philosophical sense, reflecting her beliefs that art has the power to transcend the ordinary, to speak the truths not visible to the naked eye.
