Lisa Parkinson Roberts

Biography

I am an ex nutrition scientist/researcher/author who is now living my dream; creating beautiful oil paintings.
I am drawn to painting faces and alway start with the eyes as we know they are the ‘window to the soul’ and once I can see the soul of the source, flow comes easily. I strive to create a painting surface that is lively and textured and to gradually build the portrait through layers of oil paint. This allows a softness that can either be left alone, or built on to create depth.
I have been studying this year with Milan Art Institute, working through the art mastery program, and have learnt so much. I am living and breathing art and loving every minute of it.
