**Biography and Career of Ding Liping**




Ding Liping, born in Shanghai in 1951, graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 1976. He is an accomplished painter and a first-class art designer. Ding has served as an art director for Shanghai Television and is currently the Creative Design Director at Shanghai Broadcasting Film & Television Production Company. He is a member of the Shanghai Artists Association and a council member of the Shanghai Stage Designers Association.




Ding has held numerous exhibitions showcasing his oil paintings and installation art in various cities worldwide, including in Shanghai, Oregon (USA), Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane (Australia), Valencia (Spain), Prague (Czech Republic), and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). Notably, his exhibitions in Australia have been a significant part of his international art career.




He has also played a key role in the art design for major national and regional events across China, including Shanghai, Beijing, Wuhan, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu. Ding's exceptional work has earned him the Art Creation Award from the Shanghai Federation of Literary and Art Circles. His notable design contributions include:
