Lara Niven

Biography

My name is Lara and I am an Australian artist, born and raised in the capital city of Canberra. 
I have a passion for traditional illustration techniques and more recently have developed an interest in digital illustration. 

I pride myself on completing highly detailed works. Previously working mainly in black and white wildlife illustration I have now started exploring illustrations of varying objects. I like to work in larger scale to capture the detail and have come back around to using coloured pencil to capture the vibrancy and beauty of these objects.
