Kay Cripps

Biography

I paint mostly Australian landscapes (and waterscapes in particular) which increased in frequency as a form of escapism, during the pandemic, in both watercolour and acrylic. I have been painting almost constantly since my first painting class back in October 2018. Throwing myself into painting everyday has given me back a creative outlet and focus which I had lost. I love putting paint on canvas and paper and challenging myself with harder and harder subjects with each new painting.
