Justine Synman

Biography

My name is Justine. I have lived my life in the great city of Melbourne. I feel blessed to be raising my three beautiful children in this wonderful community.
I have spent my life, making, sewing, designing, and creating. I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design at RMIT and worked in the industry for over a decade. After further study I now spend most of my time as an Art teacher working with primary aged children nurturing their creativity.

Over the last few years, I have rediscovered my love of painting, drawing with a brush, and celebrating my love of colour with paint. I am a member of the Glen Eira Cheltenham Art Group and was awarded Best Acrylic at their annual Art Show for 2025, after also exhibiting at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. This is my third year entering the Camberwell Art Show and I am thrilled to be exhibiting alongside such talented artists.

My paintings are my humble attempt to capture the colour, beauty and grace of nature and the world around me. They are little moments in time and space that make me pause and smile. It is a personal process that is filled with love and joy. It is my small hope that they make others pause and smile too.
