Justine Synman

Biography

My name is Justine. I live locally and I have lived my life in the great city of Melbourne. I feel blessed to be raising my three beautiful children in this wonderful community.
I have spent my life, making, sewing, designing, and creating. I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design at RMIT and worked in the industry for over a decade. I now spend most of my time as an Art teacher working with primary aged children developing their creativity.
Over the last few years, I have turned to painting for creative expression. Through painting I can still draw with a brush, but I can really celebrate my love of colour and pattern with paint.
My paintings are my humble attempt to capture the colour, beauty and grace of nature and the world around me. They are little moments in time and space that make me pause and smile. It is a personal process that is filled with love and joy. It is my small hope that they make others pause and smile too.
