  • Biography

I was born and raised predominantly in the La Trobe Valley and completed formal training in visual
arts at East Gippsland Institute of TAFE in 2008. Following that, I took a hiatus from painting to
pursue a career as a tattoo artist, which after 14 years I continue to this day.
Like a lot of artists, my beginnings were formed in graphite drawings, but I will always consider
painting as my 'first love'. My early works were made using acrylics but my more recent works have
been made using predominantly oils on a variety of surfaces.
I began entering local art shows in 2017 and by 2020 I felt like I was on a good path to further my
artistic career, but like many other people, the Covid-19 pandemic put a halt to those plans. Now,
these few years later, I feel like my creative spark is brighter than ever and I’m excited to be continuing on my creative path and becoming more involved in, and a part of, the wider art community.
