Joan Tallent

Biography

I am a mostly self taught Realist artist and my style is strongly influenced by Impressionism. My subject matter is varied as I find subjects of interest everywhere which brings its own challenges. The medium I choose for an artwork can be dictated by the subject matter and I enjoy equally working in in Pastel, Oil, Watercolour and pen+ wash.

I am a member of the Ballarat Society of Artists Inc, Australian Guild of Realist Artists and the Pastel Society of Victoria ( Aust).
