  • Biography

I graduated from the Fine Art course at the Preston Institute in 1974. It was an exciting place to study and many of the teachers are now well recognised artists. After graduation I traveled and managed an art gallery in Cadaques Spain just near Dali’s house. I sold several of my sculptures, then progressed to designing and selling jewellery. For the past 13 years I have concentrated mainly on oil painting which is now my primary passion.

I live in Kew, a verdant area that is a constant source of inspiration. I usually start with an image but enjoy how it changes along the way. I enjoy the push & pull , the interplay of light & colour and the 2 way interaction with the painting that keeps it challenging & vital.

I exhibited at the last Camberwell Art Show & sold one of the paintings exhibited.
