Born in China in 1946, arrived in Australia in 1990.
66 solo exhibitions till 2023.
Won Shirley Hannan National Portrait Prize 2002.
Finalist of the Archibald Prize 2008, 2009, 2021, 2022 & the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize 1996, 2010, 2014
Selected into Archie 100 exhibition in Art Gallery of NSW.
Finalist of the Darling Portrait Prize 2022 and won the highly commended award.
