Artist Profile for 2021.
I have had a life time interest in Art since attending Malvern Girls' where they had an excellent curriculum in Art and Crafts. I have been painting since 1985. I studied the tonal method and painted
in black and white for quite some time before moving on to the use of colour. I have continued with the tonal method using mediums oil, pastel and acrylic. Since 2009 I have been a member of Ringwood Art Society. For me painting is like a form of meditation, using an energy from within that is good for body and soul.
Achievements include works hung and /or sold at Camberwell Art Show in 1992, 2013,14,15,16,17,18 & 19.I have entered many other art shows over many years and enjoyed some success.During the past year, with Covid 19 restrictions, I have enjoyed exploring Abstract art and currently working in that style.
